No Conduct’s Top Ten Movies of 2014

Although 2014 was a slow year for movies (seriously someone come out with some good movies already!!!), there were some that caught our eye. Here are No Conduct’s top 10 movies of 2014. These are in no particular order and Frozen is only on here because of the amount of money it grossed.

Big Hero 6

1. Big Hero 6
It was funny and all around entertaining.

XMen Days of Future Past

2. X-Men Days of Future Past
I loved Quicksilver and the fact that they erased everything that happened in the previous X-Men (which they screwed up by the way)

3. Captain America The Winter Soldier
It was pretty good, with some inconsistencies. It wasn’t better than the first but it was better than a lot of 2014’s movies.Frozen

4. Frozen
Oh God – Frozen  That’s all I have to say about that. (Yea yea I know it came out in 2013 but the profits rolled over to 2014. Suck it up and accept it on the list)

5. The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies
Awesome movie! I will be buying this when it comes out on Bluray! It was action from start to finish and you actually got to see the wizards fight. Great movie. I think the best out of the entire series.

6. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1
Like Frozen, this is only on here because of how much it grossed. It was an OK movie but it was slow due to the fact that it was part 1 of the movie. Part 2, of course, will have more of the action.

7. Maleficent
I’ve already watched this movie 3 times. Love the graphics and I love Angelina Jolie. Wonderfully done movie.

8. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes
Excellent movie just like it’s successor, Planet of the Apes. The actor who plays Caesar does a wonderful job; he actually makes you feel what Caesar is going through. Can’t wait for the next one. (I know the picture says Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Chalk it up to laziness )

The-Lego-Movie
9. The Lego Movie
This was a pretty good movie for the kids. For me, it was chuckle worthy.

Guardians of the Galaxy
10. Guardians of the Galaxy
This movie actually surprised me. Based on the preview, I thought it was going to be stupid. I was talked into going to see this and I liked it! My favorite character was the raccoon (What’s a raccoon? There’s nothing like me. I’m one of a kind).

So what do you think of the list? Agree or disagree? Did I leave something out? Personally, I think I’m spot on.
